Enhanced phenol degradation by immobilized Acinetobacter sp. strain AQ5NOL 1
A locally isolated Acinetobacter sp. Strain AQ5NOL 1 was encapsulated in gellan gum and its ability to degrade phenol was compared with the free cells.
