A total of 136 samples were gathered from 210 employees from Mewaholeo Industries Sdn Bhd and Panasonic AVC Networks Sdn Bhd. A quantitative research methodology was used in this research and the data were collected using online questionnaires as the instrument. Then, the data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics were reported, followed by reliability analysis, Spearman’s Rank Correlation and hypothesis testing using stepwise multiple regression. The findings showed there was a significant relationship between staffing, training and learning, participation and empowerment and employee engagement in the selected companies. Besides, findings from this study also indicated that training and learning were the most dominant independent variables for employee engagement in the selected companies.
