To remain competitive, organizations need to maximize the use of technology to the highest level. Therefore, business intelligence (BI) has provides the elements for decision making. The element is used to generate effective management, forecasts of future results, and solutions to improve organizational performance. In order to implement BI in organizations, a framework should be proposed before developing a prototype. However, to develop a framework that fits with business intelligence in higher education, it is important to take into account the necessary components. There are several existing BI framework that can be used according to the structure since the layer, components, and processes are difference depends on the reasons of implementation.
