This study tries indentify the difficulties of content in the textbook. This study is an analytical analysis of the linguistic content of the textbook "Al-lughah Al-Arabiyyah Al-Muasirah" form one, i.e: in terms of the vocabulary in the book and its composition also the grammatical and morphological aspects that were manifested in all teaching units. The problem of the study is reflected in the weakness of the majority of students in the first year in the subject of "Al-lughah Al-Arabiyyah Al-Muasirah", especially in the pronounciation of the Arabic language and the inability to write the language because of the lackness of the Arabic language vocabulary, which led to a lot of errors in their Arabic language conversation and written language. The study produced a qualitative and quantitative approach. This is done by surveying the contents of the text book "Al-lughah Al-Arabiyyah Al-Muasirah" form one and make comparisons with Dokumen Standard Kurikulum & Penilaian(DSKP). The study was based on the theory of the evaluation of the textbook by the famous educational researchers Rushdie Ahmed Taima, Ollmaan and Stevick.The study found that the textbook "Al-lughah Al-Arabiyyah Al-Muasirah" form one neglects the important principles mentioned in the Dokumen Standard Kurikulum & Penilaian(DSKP) because of the tendency to focus more on the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, with some important things falling in the process of teaching and learning. As for the Arabic grammar, the teacher will be indirectly applies. In addition, the study found that textbook exercises and activity books need to recognize grammatical rules.
