Description
Summary:In 2007, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) was established as one of the first private universities in Malaysia that provides quality and excellent services in education (teaching and learning), research, and consultancy. Along with the establishment, the UNITEN Training and Consultancy (UTC) Unit was instituted as a channel for UNITEN lecturers in extending their skills to the external parties relating to consultancy, training, and short courses. However, there exists no platform for the knowledge created out of these jobs to be shared with other lecturers. This paper proposes the development of a conceptual knowledge management framework as a new consultancy service framework encompassing both internal UNITEN processes and its clients. © 2011 IEEE.
