discover how technology that is tied intrinsically with Millennial that work in service sector has impact their work and non-work domain. The purpose of this study is to learn about Millennials perception toward work-life fusion. Methodology for this study is qualitative method. There are
six informants from service sector that was age between 22 years-old to 38 years-old were chosen. Content analysis has been used to obtain information from raw data. The findings of this research were some of informants angry and annoyed when they are required to do their task outside working hours. Meanwhile other informants were fine when they were being contacted to do their job even though they are on leaves. The strategies to cope with work life fusion were prioritize
commitments, switching life off internet connection and mobile phone and last but not least was by updating mobile system to get better access to organization system or apps. This study can act as reference for future researchers. Besides that, it provides insight for HR practitioner to have better understanding about employees' characteristics and improve current organization policy to improve employees' quality of live. |
