The dependent variable is strategic planning, which includes mission, vision, and goal. On the other hand, independent variables include leadership characteristics (skill) such as communication, industrial knowledge, marketing, financial, and information technology. The study was conducted at Kampong Baru Medical Centre (KBMC) and Pusat Rawatan Islam, Wilayah Persekutuan (PUSRAWI). The data collection was using questionnaire and this project includes 33 respondents that have been chosen randomly by using simple random sampling. The data was analyzed by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS-PC) Version 11.0. Correlation Coefficients Pearson Test used to determine the relationship between dependent variables with independent variables. Finding simply that there are significant relationships between leadership characteristic: communication skill with strategic planning(r=0.356, p=0.05), industrial knowledge skill with strategic planning (r-0.583, p=0.01), marketing skill with strategic planning (r=0.0669, p=0.01), financial skill with strategic planning (r=0.649, p=0.01), and information technology skill with strategic planning (r=0.0499, p=0.01). Thus, all hypotheses are rejected. |
