Summary: | This research was conducted to study the worker's perception on factors influencing
organization work culture at Sarawak Tourism Board (STB). The research will show the level
of worker's perception towards the organization work culture. The relationship between
factors such as organization value, teamwork, communication and leadership with worker's
perception on factors influencing organization work culture will be identify in this research.
This research will also identify the differences among sex and age with worker's perception
on factors influencing organization work culture. The questionnaire is used to collect data
from 36 workers in STB. All the data will he analyses using SPSS 11.0 software. The
respondents' distribution will he explain using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics
such as T test, one-way Anova and Pearson Correlation is used to test the hypotheses. The
analyses show that 63.9% of the respondents have moderate level perception towards the
organization work culture. The results of analysis using Pearson Correlation show that there
is a significant relationship between the organization value (r=0.776**, p<0.05), teamwork
(r=0.610**, p<0.05), communication (r=0.882**, p<0.05) and leadership (r=0.780**,
p<0.05) with worker's perception on factors influencing organization work culture. Besides
this, the results of analysis using T test and one-way Anova show that there is no significant
relationship among the sex and age with worker's perception on factors influencing
organization work culture. |
