Students are required to develop, study and evaluate own writing piece uncovering the strengths and weaknesses in great detail. Conversely, students are also required to analyze and evaluate renowned foreign/local poetries/lyrics in order for them to better understand the principles of poetry and lyric writing. The content of the course will highlight introduction to poetry writing, types and forms of poetry, sound, sense device, lyric study, introduction to lyric writing, foreign lyrics and the process of lyric writing.
