Trade box analysis method is used in analysing the trade pattern from the year 2014 until 2018. The existence of adjustment pressure is also identified. The result had identified that Malaysia is the net exporter for the trades with Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, East Timor and Lao PDR for the whole period. As for Indonesia, Brunei and Vietnam, the trade patterns between Malaysia and these three countries fluctuated between Malaysia being the net exporter and net importer during the period.
