Summary: | Teachers’ compliance to ethical principles plays a great role in enhancing teaching professionalism. Management code of ethics protects the teachers both individually and professionally and offers convenience to them while practising the ethical codes. While teachers’ noncompliance with code of ethics can jeopardise their teaching career and tarnish the reputation of the teaching profession. The purpose of this study is to identify factors and implications of teacher’s noncompliance with management code of ethics. This study will also recommend several solutions to strengthen teachers ’adherence to the code of teaching ethics. This study uses content-analysis, or generally known as the qualitative approach. This study found that teachers' non -compliance with the code of ethics is influenced by several factors involving teachers, administrators, colleagues and students. This study has implications for setting and strengthening the implementation of codes of ethics among teachers more effectively to address related issues. |
