A mixed-method approach (questionnaire and semi-structured interview) had been applied to conduct the survey and it had gathered a total of 59 responses. The implication obtained from the study is able to understand English language learners’ opinion on the use of non-school-based learning materials, whether the non-school-based learning materials are useful and helpful for their development of four English major skills: writing, reading, listening, and communicating.
