Summary: | This research aims to examine the mediation effect of emotional intelligence on the
relationship of transformational leadership style on teacher’s organizational commitment.
About 150 respondents among daily secondary school teachers in Terengganu need to
answer the questionnaire that has been distributed. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM)
were chosen as a method in analyzing, interpret and test the development of the
hypotheses. The findings reveal that there’s a direct and indirect effect of
transformational leadership style on teacher’s organizational commitment. Emotional
intelligence clearly proved as a mediator in this research. Importantly, results of this
study have extended the literature of transformational leadership style, emotional
intelligence and teacher’s organizational commitment in educational settings. |
