The ‘Nirai’ guitar (‘Ichigo Ichie’) of Okinawa, Japan
The ‘nirai’ instrument is a mix of ‘sanshin’ and guitar. In this study, the sound was analysed with a PicoScope oscilloscope. The ‘sanshin’ tuning is a fifth, root, and fifth.
