Maulud, A.S. Zabiri, H. Process monitoring is required for effective process control and safety. Multiscale classification offers a variety of benefits in monitoring industrial processes that are typically driven by events occurring in distinct time and frequency domains. This study examined 208 publications on multiscale process monitoring in industrial processes through bibliometric analysis based on the Web of Science and Scopus databases. The purpose of this study was to document the publication trend, geographic distribution, prolific authors, countries, and affiliations, as well as the most frequently used publishing sources and most cited publications. In addition, keyword analysis and collaboration analysis based on authors and countries were also presented. The most productive authors and institutions were determined using two relatively new performance measures: the weighted publications and the weighted citations. The top ten most cited publications in this study area are identified based on the total citations and the average citations per year. Finally, the research trends and evaluations were also presented based on the author's keywords. It can be concluded that the findings of this study will help future researchers exploring creativity to concentrate their research better. © 2022 2022 Article NonPeerReviewed Nawaz, M. and Maulud, A.S. and Zabiri, H.
