Inflation and high unemployment reduced or in some cases eliminated consumers' disposable income which might have been allocated to vacations. The purpose of this study was to determine if there are segments of retailers who share attitudes about how the economy affected their business and to evaluate business factors which might serve as predictors of business prosperity during adverse economic conditions. |
