Kanageswari Azizan, Norizan HM Sociology This study examined the students’ satisfaction levels on services and facilities which Universiti Utara Malaysia provided to them, as well as the services provided by the staff from various centers and departments. A questionnaire, Student Satisfaction Survey 2020 (SSS 2020) was developed for the purpose of this study. Items relating to online learning were included to take into account the impacts of Covid-19 pandemic on the students’ learning experiences. The population included all undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing their studies in different programmes and schools. 2,618 undergraduate and 223 postgraduate students responded to the survey. Generally, the undergraduate students were satisfied with all the services and facilities offered by Universiti Utara Malaysia. The satisfaction levels among postgraduate respondents, in general, were found to be high for most services and facilities offered. However, they were not satisfied with the services offered by the staff at Student Accommodation Center (SAC), Student Residential Hall (INASIS), Management Museum and Islamic Center. Traits which needed to be addressed immediately included acceptable response time, ability to solve students’ problems and communication skills. The findings would be able to assist the University to determine areas for improvements.
