Description
Summary:The current study focuses on the behavioural ground to understand students' subjective financial well-being (SFWB). It posits the link of financial information, financial literacy, and financial behaviour in investigating how students literally use financial information that they gained from financial literacy to make financial decisions-financial behaviour that contributed to their SFWB. A sample of 250 university students were selected using convenient sampling method and 120 responses were useful. This study employed PLS-SEM method to test the estimate model and found that (1) financial information positively related to financial literacy;(2) financial literacy positively related to financial behaviour: and (3) financial behaviour positively related to SFWB. Results indicated that financial behaviour mediated partially between the relationship of financial literacy and SFWB. The findings provided insights for the researchers to frame a holistic picture in e the effects between financial information, financial literacy, financial decision behaviour and whether this behaviour contributes to SFWB.
