It is therefore vital that pedagogical innovation has to change in liase and at par with the current changes in technology. The purpose of this study is to identify the needs for designing m-learning model for Instructional technology in the teaching and learning processes in Teacher Training Institutes (IPG). Samples were 150 students and 4 experts from five Teacher Training Institutes (IPG) in the Northern Zone which were purposively chosen. The data was analysed descriptively using SPSS V20. Findings from the study indicated that there is a need to build m-learning model for Instructional Technology course in the respective 5 IPGs.
