It is necessary to study the factors influencing entrepreneurial intentions that draw science students to venture into business as they are more likely to become successful entrepreneurs and generate additional value for economic development. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to analyze the relation among science students at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Sintok between personal attitude, social norms, perceived behavioural control and entrepreneurial intentions. In this context, entrepreneurial intention can be defined as individual's intention in starting their own business that acts as the main predictors in determining future entrepreneurs. To test the hypothesis that personal attitude, social norms, and perceived behavioural control relates positively to the entrepreneurial intention of science students at UUM Sintok, a set of questionnaire was distributed via social media such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and etc. However, only 250 questionnaires were collected successfully for the analysis of the data. Research findings show the independent variables (personal attitude, social norms, and perceived behavioural control) are positively related entrepreneurial intention. It is also revealed that Science students in UUM Sintok put social norms as significant factors that affect the decision to participate in business once graduated. Thus, the implications of the study and recommendation for future research were addressed in this study for relevant stakeholders and potential studies. 2020 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/9237/1/s825572_01.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/9237/2/s825572_02.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/9237/3/s825572_references.docx Nur Husnina, Zakaria (2020) The theory of planned behaviour as antecedents of entrepreneurial intention among science students in UUM Sintok.
