Summary: | This research explores the relationship between various risk factors associated with noise exposure and safety performance among workers in a chemical manufacturing factory. Through a comprehensive analysis of data collected from the factory, including questionnaire responses, the study investigates factors such as perceived self-efficacy, susceptibility, benefits, barriers, situational influences, and safety climate, and their influence on safety performance. Findings reveal significant correlations between perceived self-efficacy, susceptibility, benefits, situation influences, safety climate, and safety performance, highlighting the importance of individual beliefs and organizational factors in shaping safety outcomes. While perceived barriers showed a weak relationship with safety performance, further investigation is warranted. Recommendations are provided to enhance safety performance, including promoting awareness and training on safety practices, providing high-quality personal protective equipment, enhancing supervisory support and organizational rules, implementing recognition programs, fostering a culture of collaboration, and encouraging employee participation and ownership in safety initiatives. By implementing these recommendations, organizations can create safer work environments and promote employee well-being. |
