Developing a comprehensive understanding of the factors that predict safety behaviours is crucial for enhancing safety performance in workplace. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the factors influencing compliance with safety behaviour (CSB) among aircraft maintenance technicians (AMTs) in selected fighter aircraft squadrons. This study involved 220 respondents among AMTs from four selected fighter aircraft squadrons. The quantitative method of survey questionnaire was adopted from Work Safety Scale comprised five factors of job safety (JS), coworker safety (CS), engineering officer safety (EOS), management safety practices (MSP) and satisfaction with safety program (SSP). All the data obtained from this study was analysed with IBM SPSS Version 27 program for normality analysis, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that all hypotheses were positively related to compliance with safety behaviour. However, only management safety practices and satisfaction with safety program indicate high relationship with compliance with safety behaviour which means squadrons management plays an important role in ensuring AMTs safety behaviour compliance compared to job safety, coworker safety and engineering officer safety. Lastly, discussion on the findings of this study is highlighted followed by findings implications, limitations of the study and suggestions for future research. 2024 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/11280/1/depositpermission.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/11280/2/s829083_01.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/11280/3/s829083_02.pdf Muhamad Saifuddin, Nordin (2024) Factors influencing compliance with safety behaviour among aircraft maintenance technicians in selected fighter aircfaft squadrons.
