The texture/slip parameters used in the analysis are: nondimensional texture length; nondimensional depth of recess/groove; land with slip to recess region ratio; number of cells; and nondimensional slip coefficient. Partially textured slip parallel slider and concentric journal bearing has a potential to generate load carrying capacity and reduce coefficient of friction.
