Thus, this study intended to find out the most reported chemical substances causing climate change resulting from human activities on the planet and to discuss their chemical processes and the consequences of their formations and destructions resulting in climate change. Thus, the study adopted systematic review of articles published between 2009 to 2019. After a series of screening, about 15 articles were selected from a search result of nine search engines and journals. The findings indicated that the predominant chemical compounds and molecules, causing climate change include hydroxyl, carbon dioxide, Non-Methane Hydrocarbons and Greenhouse gases like methane, water vapor, ozone and nitrous oxide. It also indicated that researchers focus on the chemistry and processes of chemical substances in stratosphere, troposphere, and atmosphere. It concluded that while interacting with nature, human being needs to consider the significance of the chemistry of gaseous compounds and molecules in the air.
