Civil engineering (General) Local authority faces a lot of problem when dealing with submission and approvals such as delays in obtaining approval for land clearance applications and a number of other related issues. Ministry of Housing and Local Government trying to solve these problems by introducing a new system for application for approval known as One Stop Centre (OSC). OSC were then established and implemented in every local authority to solve the issues. OSC's main functions are managing applications for Planning Permits, Building Plan Approval and Land Requirements, subdivisions and re-ownership, with the main objective of shortening the process of approval and reduce the repetitive submission. The delays in time of approving were contributed by a lot of internal and external problems such Principal Submitting Person (PSP) submitting incomplete documents and the local authority office?s lacking in manpower. The findings form this study has shown that OSC have been helping greatly in reducing the number of repetitive submission and improve the time taken in approving the documents. The findings shows that even though the time has improved and the delay?s been reduced, the whole procedure itself is still not running as smooth as they have expected. In this paper, it also found that the user of the system were favouring the suggestion for OSC to held a pre discussion before any submission done in order to shorten the time and smoothen the process. It is found that OSC have a great positive impact in few aspect in OSC?s system such as making the approval process fast and easy. Although the feedback was great, OSC still have a lot of improvement to be done. 2019 Thesis NonPeerReviewed application/pdf en http://eprints.utm.my/id/eprint/85743/1/AhmadFadzliRezaMSKA2019.pdf Abdul Rashid, Ahmad Fadzli Reza (2019) Keberkesanan pusat setempat (OSC) di pihak berkuasa tempatan.
