Description
Summary:The purpose of this research was to explore students' perspective regarding on comparison between Mobile Learning (M-learning) and Electronic Learning (E-learning). This paper presents a portion of the findings on students' perceptions of practicability with both modes of learning regarding their boons and drawbacks. This qualitative research study focused on thirty students, who were selected purposively from one of the Malaysian boarding school. The students had been exposed to mobile computing devices, such as tablets, into their Biology lesson for at least three weeks via mobile applications. Data were collected through online open-ended questionnaire. Two specific themes emerged from the qualitative data: (a) three problems encountered when using Frog VLE, that is sluggish internet speed, impediment to logging in and unease of use. (b) M-learning is better if compared to E-learning in term of less complicated, easy, fun, confident in sharing of information and convenient in communication with peers.
