Description
Summary:Literature review of business incubators-incubation models has magnetized the interest of many researchers to focus attention on incubators and incubation programmes, where it is seen as an accelerator to new venture development. This study reviewed ten businessincubators-incubations models from the literature between the period of 1985 and 2014, and carries out a literature-based analysis on the elements used in each model. It classified the determinants into three themes; (a) resources, (b) services and (c) other elements which can be associated ultimately to the performance of business incubators-incubation. This review provides practitioners and researchers with the key elements across different models as well as concluding the intellectual capital in business incubator as a potential tool to explore in further research in the near future.
