Description
Summary:Increasing energy demands projected in the year 2030 (40%) requires the government to take action on energy-efficiency initiatives now. This study aims to determine the user perception on energy efficiency and design of schools in Malaysia. The perception on energy efficiency (PEE) and perception on design (POD) are the construct to measure the perception of energy efficiency in school design (UPEESD). The result found that all construct achieved Cronbach's Alpha coefficient level exceeding 0.60 (POD=0.73, PEE=0.80); indicating that all dimensions have good reliability values. This result also found that there is significant correlation between POD and PEE (r=0.282, p=0.00).
