Summary:The main focus of this study is to examine the impact of drug prevention programme for student development at SHIELDS district of Muar dan Ledang, Johor based on Kirkpatrick model. Respondents consisting of 61 participants took part in the program SHIELDS for session 2012 in ten secondary schools. This research approach Mixmethod (combined Method) in the survey and interviews with the structured sampling method. The instruments used are questionnaire and interview. For the findings of the questionnaire, the data analyzed by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20.0. While the interview is analyzed manually involves coding and interpretation of data. Beliefs questionnaire has been tested through a pilot study carried out by finding Alpha's 0.849 for satisfaction and the value of the trust's Alpha to 0.812 impact program. The independent variables used were participant satisfaction, impact on the effectiveness of the program SHIELDS in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes. Findings show the four aspects surveyed showed positive reactions in which participants are satisfied with the training that followed, getting knowledge as well as to increase the skills, an attitude change and benefit in the form of drug abstinence. It can be formulated as a whole that the program SHIELDS conducted AADK Muar and Ledang is effective to participants in an effort to improve the quality of life avoiding drugs.
