Summary: | It is general knowledge and acceptance that modelling is one of the methods for finding solutions to real problem, particularly complex engineering problems. This paper reviews the idea of modelling as a tool in the charge-gun performance and casing damage studies, and dicusses the basic concept of modelling. From the literature survey, it can be seen that charge-gun performance studies have been performed using physical or laboratory modelling, but casing damage studies have been accomplished by laboratory modelling and finite element method. |
