Summary: | The research was to survey the level of knowledge and practice in the Malaysian Secondary School Integrated Curriculum (KBSM) concept among the teachers. The instrument was designed to measure the knowledge of the teachers on 54 items concerning National Language in the curriculum, the implementation of moral value in lessons and the usage of teaching methods. The result shows the level of teachers' knowledge was good on National Language, the implementation of moral values, the pedagogy and teaching methods. The level of teachers' practice on Bahasa Malaysia, implementation of moral value, in the lessons and the usage of the KBSM method was at the medium level. The research also shows that the factors on sex, age, the service and position was significantly influential on the knowledge of the teachers on the KBSM. The sex and age were the only factors that showed significant effect on the teachers' practice. |
