The aim of this project is to develop dc-dc converter or power supply for charging the capacitor. In this attempt, switch mode power supply technique adopted dc-dc boost converter was employed. The converter used 12 V dc power supply as an input voltage and serial of three capacitors with capacitance of 470 ?F and voltage rated of 450 V.
