The evolution of e-learning is examined by dividing it into two main periods: pre-Pandemic-19 and post-Pandemic-19. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic forced the education sector to heavily rely on e-learning for teaching and learning activities. Consequently, the utilization of e-learning expanded globally, reaching every corner of the world. While e-learning offers significant benefits in education, it also poses certain drawbacks. This paper briefly discusses these drawbacks. In order to maximize the potential of e-learning in education, teachers must proactively address these challenges.
