The results show excellent performance of Kapok fiber in removing oil and grease up to 100%, achieved using 0.1 g with 10 minutes contact time. Meanwhile, highest removal of anionic surfactants was up to 46%, achieved using 3.0 g of Kapok fiber with 10 minutes contact time. Overall, Kapok fiber showed great potential as an effective oil and grease, and anionic surfactants adsorbent.
