Faced with this situation, the hotel industry's road to recovery has grown much longer as the pandemic has expanded around the globe, therefore dynamic capabilities must be drawn up by the hotel organizations over time. Thus, this study aims to identify the dynamic capability factors toward organization sustainability from a micro-level perspective among the hotel industry in Malaysian. The independent variables in this study were dynamic capability factors (opportunity capitalization, eco human resource management, and eco organization culture), while the eco-innovation practice acted as mediator, and organizational sustainability as the dependent variable. The hotels in Peninsular Malaysia were selected to be investigated in this study. A total of 218 questionnaires were administered to the targeted respondents and they were selected from the managerial levels of three-star hotels and above. The selection was based on the list provided by the MOTAC database. SmartPLS version 3.2.8 was used to analyze the data collected. The findings showed that eco human resource management (p=0.000), and eco culture (p=0.000) had positive effects on organizational sustainability, and the most significant factor was eco human resource management (β=0.364, p=0.000). However, opportunity capitalization (p=0.197) had an insignificant affect towards organizational sustainability. Meanwhile, the finding of mediation analysis indicated that eco-innovation practices mediated the relationship between eco human resource management on organizational sustainability (t=2.848, p=0.005), while there was no mediation effect of opportunity capitalization (t=5.548, p=0.112) and eco culture (t=1.894, p=0.059) towards organizational sustainability. The findings of this study fulfill the academic gap mainly in dynamic capabilities literature and eco-innovation from services sectors especially from the perspective of hotel industry in developing country. This research also supports government policy towards positioning Malaysia as an environmental tourist destination in Southeast Asia by 2030. 2022 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en http://eprints.utem.edu.my/id/eprint/26974/1/Dynamic%20capability%20factors%20towards%20sustainability%20of%20three-star%20hotel%20and%20above%20in%20peninsular%20Malaysia.pdf text en http://eprints.utem.edu.my/id/eprint/26974/2/Dynamic%20capability%20factors%20towards%20sustainability%20of%20three-star%20hotel%20and%20above%20in%20peninsular%20Malaysia.pdf Wong, Pit Yin (2022) Dynamic capability factors towards sustainability of three-star hotel and above in peninsular Malaysia.
