| Summary: | This academic project discusses about the position and rights of women according to
the Islamic Family Law in Terengganu. This research is divided into two parts,
whereby the first part is about the position and rights of women into marriage and
divorce under hukum syara'. Meanwhile, the second part discusses about the women
under Islamic Family Law in Terengganu from certain aspect likes betrothal,
marriage, divorce and custody. The purposes are to give explanation and
understanding to the women to claim their rights in marriage that was solemnized or
after divorce. The researcher gathers information by using library research for
example by gathering information from books, journals, seminars and others. As a
result, this research shows that the Islamic Family Law of Terengganu had provided
the rights and position of women. |
