| Summary: | This study entitled "The management and process of quranic text printing at Yayasan
Restu, Yayasan Terengganu and Percetakan al-Maarif : A Comparative Study", aims at
identifying the problems in printing quranic texts, published now days. Errors in printing
the published Quran bring our Malaysian muslim society, who have a strong belief that
Quran is protected by Allah to a confusion. These errors are actually, risen from mistakes
made by human during the process of printing quranic texts. The results of the study
indicated that these human-errors are due to the usage of an opened pressroom in a dusty
environment that affects the cleanness of the printing plats. Therefore, we strongly
believe that the enforcement of the act of printing quranic texts 1986 is the solution to this
problem. We would also recommended the formation of a committee responsible in
revising the printed quranic texts and monitoring every level in the printing process, till
the distributing of the Quran. Finally, from the study, we can also conclude that there are
similarities and differences among Yayasan Restu, Yayasan Terengganu and Percetakan
al-Mu'rif in the management and proses of Quranic texts printing. |
