The boiler header and tube are vulnerable to attack by internal and external corrosion and cracking due to high temperature and high pressure operating condition. The usage of inspection robot integrated with image acquisition and localization simplify the inspection procedure and provides better acquired image or video quality. In this paper, various design analysis in term of load and motor analysis for locomotion and lifting mechanism; and analysis on the critical components of boiler header inspection robot MK-02 are discussed in detailed. � 2018 IEEE.
