This study starts with collecting information for preliminary study which is problem statement, objectives and literature review. Air quality data are collected from eight different areas in UNITEN, Putrajaya campus. The areas are Civil Engineering Lab (Block BD), Sports arena, COE Food Court, Murni hostel, 24-hour study area in the library, Prayer room (Surau), UNITEN Customer Centre (UCC) and a classroom (Block BN). Important aspects of this study are the equipment used to obtain the data of the pollutants and method used to interpret the results. In this research, air quality data will be taken using Portable Air Quality Detector. The air quality detector detects PM 2.5/PM 10, total volatile organic compound (TVOC), Air Quality Index (AQI), temperature and humidity. The detector is suitable to be used in the outdoor and indoor environment. Linear regression model and line graph model is developed using the data obtained to interpret the result. Then, the results of the model are compared. Civil engineering lab has the highest average air quality index compared to the other areas. Meanwhile, the other area’s air quality is considered moderate according to the AQI standard. Civil engineering lab has the highest correlation for PM 2.5 and PM 10. Meanwhile, BN classroom has the highest correlation for TVOC. Humidity correlation is more relevant compared to temperature, therefore humidity can be used as constant variable. The final part of this thesis has suggestions included with several recommendations that is likely possible for additional improvisation of this project in the future. 2023-05-03T17:00:26Z 2023-05-03T17:00:26Z 2020-02 https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/21473 application/pdf |
