Oil and fuel were vastly used and still being used for electrical energy generation. The energy that is being green and act as an eco-friendly will be the renewable energy which has a smaller number of pollutions compare to the non-renewable. The renewable energy that is being discussed in this paper is the hybrid solar and wind energy. The criteria that these two types of energy contribute for the betterment of future to produce electricity is very reliable. The sustainability of the environment, economic and social is thoroughly can be achieved. The methods of operation of solar and wind energy being discussed detail in this paper. Calculation of energy generation that the respective energy is shown and been discussed its characteristics. The calculation is decoded from the off-grid circuit which is been constructed until the required amount of voltage, power, current and energy that is needed to fit. The components of wind turbine and solar PV energy system and its specification is what determines mainly the power generation of the output of the hybrid system. Solar PV energy is optimum and efficient in obtaining electricity from the raw energy of sunlight. As sunlight is produced every day. The wind speed and its characteristics plays a huge role in this hybrid system. In our nation, Malaysia, the wind speed is higher during the day (from sunrise to sunset) than during times before sunrise and after sunset. The wind speed actually follows a sine curve during the day, and it eventually remains stagnant for periods before sunrise and after sunset. As in common Malaysia experiences two windy seasons which are southwest monsoon (May/June to September) and northeast monsoon (November to March). Normally, the wind speeds recorded during the southwest monsoon are usually about 7 m/s, but during the northeast monsoon, wind speeds can reach up to the mark of 15 m/s [1] commonly in the east coast side of Peninsular Malaysia. Moreover, during April to September, the effects from typhoons striking neighbouring countries (such as Philippines) may cause strong winds (even exceeding 10 m/s) to Sabah and Sarawak From the calculations obtained as from the experiment conducted from the site, it is showed that the readings obtained are very much energy saving to current electricity usage 2023-05-03T16:34:39Z 2023-05-03T16:34:39Z 2020-02 https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/21323 application/pdf
