my.uniten.dspace-204362023-12-06T14:24:27Z Mechanichal properties Afif Zhaffar Zuhaidi Interim sem 2020 / 2021 Magnetorheological Elastomer known as MRE are composites whose physical properties change when magnetic field is applied [1]. There are two type of MRE which is isotropic MRE and anisotropic MRE. For this experiment, there are four different number of percentages of carbonyl iron particles (CIP) that need to be added in isotropic and anisotropic MRE which is to research the behaviour of properties of MRE with or without magnetic field applied. Next, the experimental testing for the MRE is tensile testing that using the Zwick Roell Universal testing machine. From the tensile test result, it can get the percentage of elongation, tensile strength, tensile modulus (stress and strain), and force applied.
