Summary:Radiant Cooling System have a lot of benefits in comparison with the conventional air conditioning systems that are available in the country. To enlarge the usage of radiant cooling system, there are limitations that need to be solved such as the formation of moisture on the surface of the radiant cooling systems. The formation of condensation will damage the structures of the building and affects the cooling capacity of the radiant cooling systems. Besides that, different tube configurations of embedded pipe in radiant cooling panel shall also being determined to get the best cooling capacity and efficiency. According to the previous study, it has proposed the ideas on methods to curb the occurrence of condensation on the surface of the radiant cooling systems. Other than that, analytical solution was performed to determine and obtain the cooling capacity from different tube configurations and optimum surface temperature to avoid condensation from occurring. A program was designed and developed specifically for this project using Microsoft Excel. The relationships between the area of radiant cooling panel and the convective heat transfer coefficient, surface temperature of the radiant cooling panel, and the cooling capacity of the radiant cooling systems also have been defined.
