This dissertation shows the benefits of our contribution of decreased laser power source in future design by connecting every two users with one power supply instead of the traditional method of each user connected with one power supply, and adding two optical amplifiers to compensate for the power loss that occurs during signal transmission and that optical amplifiers are semiconductors commonly used and cheaper, utilizing subcarrier multiplexing-Spectral Amplitude coding -Optical coding division multiple access (SCM-SAC-OCDMA)with FSO based on Multi Diagonal code (MD) and investigates the influence of weather phenomena [rain and haze] on the signal parameters of FSO. The experiment was simulated optically using Optical Communication System Design Software Version 7.0 which is a very recognizable piece of software. Components with wavelength-dependent characteristics are included in the large collection of active and passive components. The eye diagram is a representation of an eye that is often used to indicate the quality of a signal as it travels from one point to another. The optical spectrum analyzer was used to analyze the power of signal transmission for each stage. Weather parameters were collected from original specialized websites. Practical components show system results that rain weakens the signal more than hazy weather. The system was tested in precipitation conditions with levels of precipitation phenomena (light rain, medium rain, heavy rain, storm), and(haze) using a laser wavelength of 1550 nm which is the most stable against the attenuation effect and weather phenomena as proved at previous studies. The increase in BER is observed proportionally, the more severe the weather conditions (heavy rain, storms) the higher the BER from (7.306 × 10-21 to 1.685 × 10-16) and transmission distance of 2.5 km, Attenuation leads to an increase in BER, and each user is permitted to communicate at a rate of 2.4 gigabits per second for each user utilizing a transmission level of 5dBm, two more optical amplifiers were added to the FSO design to reach our goal which is a decrease power supply laser sources in the structure of the system and overcome on impact factors ( rain and haze attenuation ). 2023-05-03T13:43:00Z 2023-05-03T13:43:00Z 2022-02 Resource Types::text::Thesis https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/19640 en application/pdf
