| Summary: | The Murut community is rich in culture and heritage which has been passed on from one generation to another. In general, this research is to identify the function of the gong in the Murut community. Besides that, this research also aims to find and to record the gong values that are found in the Murut community. In addition, the objectives of the research are also is to evalute the Murut's perception about gong nowadays, analyze and to document the data on the gong's function and value in the Murut community. Indeed, the gong has multiple functions and possesses high value in the murut community of Tenom, Sabah. |
