This study is a quantitative research method that applied a correlational research design. Thus, it uses stratified random sampling techniques to collect a sample from the population. Five public universities have been involved in this study, consisting of 90 trainee counsellors from year one to year four. Three instruments have been used to measure the variable, which are Supervisee Nondisclosure Scale (SNDS), Supervisee Disclosure in Supervision Scale (SDSS) and Supervisory Satisfaction Questionnaire (SSQ). Pearson-product moment correlation was used to analyse seven hypotheses. However, only trainee nondisclosure was shown to significantly correlate with the supervisee’s satisfaction, while trainee disclosure failed to show the correlation with the supervisee’s satisfaction. Consequently, there is a signif icant relationship between trainee nondisclosure and supervisee’s satisfaction. Therefore, the supervisor needs to provide a safe space for the supervisee to share the content during supervision. The supervisee needs to be aware that their supervisory relationship is either good or problematic. Thus, this study increases current knowledge in counselling supervision.
