The produced prototype is able to detect the car plate and recognize it. Waterfall model is used to develop the proposed system. This thesis introduces the background of the system, methodology used, design of system, system prototype, achievements of the system and the future enhancements that can be done. In the future, this system could be applied at the area which has vehicles to increase the security of that area.
