Some companies or small businesses, however, still using the traditional methods in placing orders, delivery and processing methods. There are some disadvantages of using traditional inventory management in managing the stock. This is because owner needs to jot down the items to be ordered to the supplier. Then, the order been placed through phone call. Thus, this could be an inconvenience way as there will be a miscommunication or wrong order placement. Moreover, if the owner needs to do some checking on the order records, but he is out from the office at the moment, he will need the help of his workers to search for the documents. Therefore, a mobile application has been proposed in order to help the owner to place the order through the smartphone at anytime and anywhere. This will less the burden of the owner as he could check for the order placement history or do a new order placement through the smartphone only.
