(PCML) often engage in daily business activities that involve contracting with other suppliers, service providers and vendors especially because they operate in multiple countries. Contracts that are created or received by PCML are stored in an unsystematic way such that it may be hard to locate when it is required. In some cases, contracts are lost due to the poor effort of contract management. Contracts that require renewal or action may be overlooked which in turn will disrupt the supplies and services necessary for carrying out daily tasks. In this thesis, we present a web-based international business contract management system that supports the management of contracts among offices in multiple countries, internal organization workflow and tracking and monitoring of contracts and other relevant documents. This system will automatically alert or notify users of expiring contracts and other relevant documents via e-mail so that action can be taken to avoid unnecessary fees due to an event such as missing the dateline of a contract renewal. A study on the existing contract management system is also done to ensure the system meet the needs and expectations of users. It was found that productivities of users were improved, contract transaction time accelerated and many other benefits through the use of this web-based international business contract management system.
