总结: | This study is to investigate the relationship between the economic growth and different source of energy consumption in Malaysia by using the yearly data which cover the period ranging from 1971 to 2010. The methodologies that been employed in this study
include the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) and Phillips-Perron (PP) unit root test, the Johansen-Juselius cointegration test, Vector Autoregressive (VAR) and Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The empirical result shows that in long run, there is unidirectional causality that running from total energy consumption to economic growth and from economic growth to energy consumption. Some policies have been liberalized
in this study that could be carried out by the government as to support for the expansion of the Malaysia economic in the future. |
