Summary:Introduction. This study aimed to find out the relationship between Self-directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) and Academic Performance: A Study among University Students. Method. The sample consists of 100 students from the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development (FSCHD). All the respondents were from the first, second, and third year of Cognitive Science students. Pearson Correlation is the method that is used to test the relationship. Results. There is no relationship between Self-directed Learning Readiness with student‟s academic performance. Conclusion. Students‟ academic performance and gender are not related to SDLR while student‟s current studies related to SDLR as there is a significant relationship between SDLR with student‟s current studies.
